For hundreds of years artists of all types have walked the streets of Florence. And now you can experience a sense of your own creative rapport with this magnificent city. Through theatre, photography, music, and art, you will see Florence differently in one-of-a-kind experiences perfect for adults, students or families. Which includes, of course, wonderful Tuscan fare!
A Florence Art Crawl is not a tour. It is an opportunity to experience the city in a way never before offered. You will be with people who love the city, know it intimately, and want to share it with you creatively. The restaurants, galleries, theaters, artisans and actors that Florence Art Crawl partners with are excited to share with you their work as an enhancement to your time in the most beautiful city in the world.
Our crawls initially focus on a part of the city fewer tourists visit or take the chance to experience intimately – Oltrarno. This is the area of San Frediano, Santo Spirito and Piazza Tasso – where the artisans of the city still have their shops and the streets feel more like a neighborhood then a tourist town. The history is as deep here – Machiavelli’s home is on this side of the city and this is where Dante was first struck by Beatrice – and in the quiet hours of the evening, “The Other Side of the Arno” is waiting to be explored!
